I got this for my 9 year old who likes doing origami. Though he's not very good at origami, this book inspired him to try some new things. He's showed it to adult guests who come over also and they enjoy it as well. (I don't like origami, but even some of the things in this book make me giggle.)

Great book for a more experienced folder. My daughter was enjoying making smaller items with the smaller origami paper, and seemed a little bored. So I bought her this book. WOW!! Lots of great projects, but it is definitely geared towards the more experienced folder. I would highly recommend this book for a teenager or adult. There is some pretty neat stuff in here. Many projects require multiple papers and there are quiet a few that are interactive (move). She really enjoys it when she can find PLENTY of time to sit down and actually figure a project out.

This was a Christmas gift for my 12 year old grandson and he loves it! The skill levels vary from project to project; some quite simple, ranging to pretty complex. I liked the variety of projects and my grandson has had a lot of fun with some of the more unusual ones. While I don't think this would be appropriate for a beginner, I would highly recommend it for anyone with some skill looking for some unique folds.

Bought this for my 9&11 years old step children and they love it! Best part is, there are so many activities inside that it's been a full year and they haven't even done a third of them. The instructions are clear and the end results are truly amusing. It's difficult to find mental challenging fun games for smart kids/ pre-teens so I highly recommend this product for all origami enthusiasts and parents looking for presents.

The title is rather apt. I was suitably astonish and amused by the origami subjects within. If I have to choose one word to descibe the book, it would be "quirky".For those who have been purchasing origami books and getting the usual stuff and would like some unusual subjects, this is definitely the book!Within the book is divided into 4 main sections: 1) Origami Action (32 models) 2) Symbols, Signs & Stunning Designs (21 models), 3) Models from the Heart (15 models) and 4) Origami for the Almost Deranged (21 models). Most of the subject matters cannot be found elsewhere, in any other origami books.I find the general format and presentation of the book rather unusual too, rather refreshing. Throughout the book, for every models, there is a section "Thoughts behind the fold". This allows you to get into the mind of the author and possibly ideas for creating your own models.There are so many models that I am unable to list all of them. Among my favourites are a workable Swiss Army Knife, a nail clipper and slithering snake skin! There are also a lot of action models and this suits me very well as I like action models.The general complexity ranges from simple to complex. On a range of 1 to 5, with simple (1) and complex (5), I find that most of the models fall in the range of 2. Do not let this fool you, simple models can be very effective and fun to fold too. The final result is astonishing and amusing, much more so that some complex models.I like to mention too that I had fun with the running car, hey!, running on legs, not wheels! Then you will be taught how to fold the carbon atom that even a rocket scientist could not fold. Do not forget to try folding the invisible duck too! It's a riot!Hey! as I am already almost deranged, folding from the book maintained me in the same deranged condition. Perhaps all you almost deranged origami enthusiasts would like to group together and form the ADOES (Almost Deranged Origami Enthusiasts Society).

The best origami book out there -- It's filled with interesting products ranging from very easy to I-can't-imagine-that-anyone-could-make-this difficult, with something for everyone other than, perhaps, children under the age of 8. And the book itself is well-written, which is certainly a nice surprise in a how-to crafts book. The author is witty and the instructions are easy to follow. We've bought several of these books as gifts, and they're always a hit.

A very good book. The second one I have purchased from Jeremy. I can't say I will attempt all of his designs but I really like his books.

My son loves it! I gave this book to him as a birthday gift. He just turned 11 yesterday and a huge fan of Jeremy Shafer and his YouTube channel where he knew about the book. He constantly reminds me to buy this from Amazon which I finally did. And I am glad - never miss a thing for your child. <3<3<3Children who are into origami will find it enjoyable and easy to follow. I bought this together with Origami Ooh La La! Action Origami for Performance and Play. Now, I am running out of paper. :D

I found this book to be extremly helpful in leading me through the steps necessary to train our dog as a psychiatric service dog. I had read a number of different service dog training manuals but none of them covered tasks that could help me teach our dog the skills she would need in order to support our sons disability. Those unfortunate people did not read far enough into the book. This collection is great. As a head's up, it doesn't have any of the newer films (Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, Aladdin, etc). It has several of the old cartoons, such as Sleeping Beauty and Jungle Book, as well as some of the live action like Mary Poppins. I am always very careful to purchase the regular versions of sheet music, so this review is of the regular P/V/G book and not the easy note. As an intermediate player, I find the songs are easy enough to play without excessive practice and they are a nice trip down memory lane to all the Disney films I watched growing up. There are few, like the Davy Crockett theme, that I never play, but overall the bulk of the book are songs I want to play and are songs that can be somewhat difficult to find in newer Disney collections.

This is a great collection, especially of the older Disney movies of the 50's and 60's. I bought it particularly to get a copy of "Baby Mine" from Dumbo, and because my young female students almost always want to sing Disney songs, but I'm enjoying the array of titles in it.

My husband and I were wanting a songbook appropriate for piano and voice to sing/play at a formal gathering. This fit the bill, as it contained "When You Wish Upon A Star" and "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes", the two songs we wanted. Easy scores, but also nicely written. GREAT for any Disney song enthusiast as it contains many popular numbers and some classics too!

This music book contains 54 Disney songs arranged for piano, vocal, and guitar. The songs come from Disney movies, TV shows, and short cartoons from the beginning up to the present. Most of the favorites are here: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Lady and the Tramp, The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins and the 101 Dalmatians, among others. Davy Crockett fans will be particularly pleased that 20 verses of The "Ballad of Davy Crockett" are included.This collection is not exhaustive. The book is not particularly pretty--there are no pictures aside from the cover. The music itself is not too easy or too hard--if you're looking for a musical challenge, you won't find it here--but if you're looking for music that will provide a variety of pleasant playing and listening for Disney music fans, you've found it.

If you have a child who is into music and Disney, they will love this book.

I recognized most all of the songs and appreciated that most of the songs are classic. I do wish, however, that songs from Alice in Wonderland and Robin Hood were included in there. The songs are not super-easy, but definitely not-too-difficult for an intermediate-to-advanced pianist.
